Frequently Asked Questions
What does it mean to fix a traffic ticket?
A traffic lawyer “fixes” your traffic ticket by getting it amended from a moving violation to a non-moving violation. In so doing, you will avoid points being added to your license, increased insurance costs and further license sanctions.
What happens after I submit this form?
Once the form is submitted, you will immediately be emailed a receipt, engagement letter and copy of your signed fee agreement.
Our team will verify the information you submitted and file the necessary documents with the court and prosecutor required to fix your traffic ticket. Should we need anything further from you, we will be in touch as necessary.
What if I want to talk to someone about my ticket?
You can! You can always call us at 314-827-4384 or email us directly at admin@glaesmanlaw.com. We also have two physical offices in the St. Louis area—we’re pretty easy to find.
Will my information be kept securely?
Yes. Your information will be kept securely in our system pursuant to all rules and regulations of the Missouri Bar. Your information will never be given to any third parties and will never be used for anything other than fixing your traffic ticket. Period.
Will I have any expenses other than your fee?
Our fee covers our representation of you on your tickets. It does not include any fines or court costs you might have to pay directly to the court once the ticket has been fixed. Just as with any other traditional lawyer, those costs are the responsibility of you, the client.
What if I don’t have a copy or picture of my ticket?
That’s OK! You don’t have to have a picture of your ticket to submit the form. While having the ticket will often speed up our review of the information that you submit, we usually can track down the ticket with the courts using the information you provide on the form.
Can you guarantee that my ticket will be amended or “fixed”?
Unfortunately, the Missouri Bar does not allow any lawyer to guarantee anyone a result on any type of legal matter. Ultimately, every case is different and must be judged on its own merits.
If your case has factors that might make fixing the ticket unlikely or difficult, we will contact you immediately to discuss your options. If you decide not to hire us after that, we’ll give you a full refund.
What if I don’t like my traffic lawyer?
We get it—we’re asking you to hire us sight unseen without the benefit of a phone or in person consultation. It is a leap of faith that is too much for some and buyer’s remorse is real. While we always aim to impress with the service we provide, if you decide our law firm is not for you within 14 days, we’ll give you a full refund once you’ve hired another attorney to represent you.
